Welcome to the new website of Alma James Publishing. As you’ll read in About, I’m an author who struggled to get published. I finally published my first novel on Amazon using their CreateSpace service. It sold over 4,000 copies. I’ve since published five more novels, and have honed the art of post-modern publishing.

I still write, and I offer my services to other authors seeking to be published.

Whether fiction or non-fiction, creating a quality book starts with a good story. That’s the author’s art. But a quality book doesn’t end there. People DO judge a book by its cover. Your cover should be eye-catching, in an appealing way.

You only get one chance to make a first impression. Proper formatting can make your work shine. Skipping this vital step can make your awesome story look like a Franken-book. And even in this age of “Hw R U,” grammar and punctuation remain important.
